Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma failed to make a mark in Match 9 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday (March 29).
Rohit was knocked over by Mohammed Siraj in the very first over of MI’s chase. Siraj opened the bowling for GT and he started with a dot ball. On the next two deliveries, Rohit smashed two consecutive boundaries.
However, the fast bowler made a great comeback on the fourth delivery as he bowled a peach to rattle the stumps of Rohit.
After getting the prized scalp of Rohit, Siraj was seen celebrating with Cristiano Ronaldo's vintage 'Calma' style. GT pacer Shubman Gill also joined him in the celebration.

Earlier in the match, Gujarat Titans racked up 196/8 on the board after being asked to bat first. Sai Sudharsan was the top scorer with 63 off 41 balls while Jos Buttler (39) and Shubman Gill (38) chipped with handy contributions.
