Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clashed in the 10th match of the IPL 2024. This match was played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 29, 2024.
KKR captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first. Virat Kohli top scored with 83* in 59 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. He got support from Cameron Green (33) and Glenn Maxwell (28) as RCB posted 182/6 in 20 overs.
For KKR, Harshit Rana and Andre Russell took two scalps each.
Sunil Narine then gave KKR a dream start, hitting 47 in 22 balls with 5 sixes and 2 fours and he added 86 runs in 6.3 overs with Phil Salt (30). After their departure, Venkatesh Iyer (50) and Shreyas Iyer (39*) ensured that KKR won the game with 19 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand.
Sunil Narine, in his 500th T20 match, was named the Player of the Award for his scintillating knock that helped KKR win the match.
