Though his cricketing career might be in its twilight, the love of fans for their ‘Thala’ might never end even after he calls time on his IPL career. This love was seen when the franchise shared a photo of a letter by an MS Dhoni fan wrote for him.

The franchise framed a fan's letter and gifted it to the Indian legend. Dhoni not only signed the frame but wrote, "Well Written. Best Wishes."

Many fans were shocked when MS Dhoni handed over the CSK captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja ahead of the IPL 2022 season. However, with Jadeja’s performance as captain being unimpressive, with CSK losing 6 of their first 8 matches, Dhoni was handed over the captaincy once more and though he led CSK to some wins, the team failed to make it into the playoffs.

The Super Kings are sitting in the ninth position on the points table with four wins and nine losses. They will play Rajasthan Royals in their last match at the Brabourne Stadium on May 20.
