The Indian Premier League (IPL) has come a long way ever since its inception in 2008. Over the years, the cash-rich tournament has witnessed amazing performances from the greats of the game.
The T20 league has also provided a perfect platform to the uncapped players, paving way for them to break into the national side.
Considering the performances in the last 15 seasons, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh recently named his all-time IPL XI while speaking to Sportskeeda.
He picked former CSK skipper MS Dhoni as the leader of the star-studded line-up, which includes Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma as openers.
Virat Kohli was slotted to bat at No. 3, followed by seam-bowling all-rounder Shane Watson, AB de Villiers, Dhoni and spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
Harbhajan faced a dilemma while picking the third all-rounder between Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo but he eventually went with the former.
Mystery spinner Sunil Narine, who has performed consistently for KKR over the years, found a place in Harbhajan’s all-time IPL XI, which has Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah as the premier fast bowlers.
