The 38th match of the IPL 2022 will see the second meeting of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 25, 2022. PBKS had defeated CSK by 54 runs when they last met on April 3 in Brabourne stadium.
This is the match no.8 for both the sides who lay in the bottom half of the points table with PBKS winning 3 games out of seven and CSK having won only 2 matches. Therefore this match becomes highly important for both the teams as they look to stay alive in the race for playoffs.

Keeping this in mind, Team COC presents to you the Predicted playing XIs for the PBKS v CSK match
PUNJAB KINGS
The Punjab side is coming into this exciting encounter having lost three out of four matches. While Mayank And Dhawan are giving decent opening starts, the PBKS batting after the powerplay has been lackluster. It seems they would help by bringing Bhanuka Rajapaksa into the XI once more.
Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, and Jitesh Sharma have shown some big-hitting heroics with the bat but it seems PBKS is probably more dependent on Livingstone to give them impetus in the death overs.
PBKS can bring Rishi Dhawan into the XI to lengthen the batting and give experience to the bowling lineup as well.
Kagiso Rabada, Vaibhav Arora, and Arshdeep Singh have been excellent thus far with the ball, but their bowling in death overs has been a bit dicey. Rahul Chahar as the sole leading spinner has impressed one and all.
CHENNAI SUPER KINGS
Chennai Super Kings are coming into this encounter after two wins in four games after starting the season with four straight losses. In their last match, they made the tough call to drop retained Moeen Ali for Mitchell Santner while Ruturaj Gaikwad found some much-needed form at last.
Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, and Shivam Dube have done very well in the middle order with help from Ravindra Jadeja, who had also found his bowling form in the last few encounters. MS Dhoni showed that he still had it in him as he helped CSK go past MI.
Dwaine Pretorius is a welcome addition to the XI, while Dwayne Bravo is aging like fine wine and picking up important wickets. Maheesh Theekshana has given CSK lots of breathing space in middle overs, while Mukesh Choudhary showed against MI that in favorable conditions, he could do significant damage at the top.
