The 34th match of the ongoing IPL 2022 will see Delhi Capitals (DC) taking on Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Wankhede Stadium on April 22, 2022, in a match that was supposed to be played in Pune’s MCA Stadium and had to be shifted to Mumbai after multiple COVID positive cases in DC camp.
DC is coming into this match after decimating the Punjab Kings at the Brabourne stadium, while the RR team is coming off an exciting win over Kolkata Knight Riders. RR are placed third on the IPL 2022 points table, while DC is 6th currently and this will be a chance for both teams to solidify their spots.

DELHI CAPITALS
Delhi Capitals, despite being hampered by the COVID cases in their camp which have robbed them of the services of Mitchell Marsh and Tim Seifert, did well against PBKS, as they thumped them in an excellent display with both the bat and ball.
However, they come across a team that has one of the best bowling attacks in the tournament featuring the likes of Trent Boult, R Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Prithvi Shaw and David Warner have been in excellent form, adding 81 runs in 6 overs against PBKS. Rishabh Pant is yet to show his free-flowing style of play, while Rovman Powell is also lackluster with both the bat and the ball.
However, the DC bowling has been in top form with Mustafizur Rahman and Khaleel Ahmed doing the work in the pace department while Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav have done the same in the spin department with help of Lalit Yadav and Shardul Thakur.
RAJASTHAN ROYALS
Rajasthan Royals will be happy to see Devdutt Padikkal finding some much-needed form, while Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler along with Shimron Hetmyer have carried the RR batting mostly. These three batters will pose quite a lot of problems for the potent DC attack.
RR also has two of the best spinners, not only in the IPL 2022 but in India, as the duo of Ashwin and Chahal has made life difficult for opposition batting in middle overs, often bowling in tandem. Chahal will have his tail up thanks to a hat-trick and a fifer against KKR. Ashwin has always picked the prized wicket of the most important opposition batter.
Also, the addition of Obed McCoy was a welcome one as his death overs bowling was what RR needed to complete their puzzle in the bowling department which is headed by Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna.
