Now both the teams will face off against one another with GT looking to continue their winning run, while CSK looking to build some momentum after their first win and keeping this in mind, here is the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the GT v CSK match in IPL 2022.

GUJARAT TITANS

For Gujarat Titans (GT) everything has fell into place pretty well. Their batters have been doing well, while the bowlers have harassed the opposition batters a lot.

Their main area of concern in the opening duo is that Matthew Wade has failed to give them the starts they are looking for and maybe now is the time to bring in either Wriddhiman Saha or Rahmanullah Gurbaz into the playing XI for that impetus required at the start.

Gujarat Titans | BCCI-IPLShubman Gill and the middle order of Hardik Pandya, Abhinav Manohar and David Miller have done excellently done well, with Rahul Tewatia giving excellent backup whenever needed. A issue has been with the no.3 spot with Vijay Shankar not doing much and B Sai Sudharshan being discarded after a couple of games.

On the other hand, Mohammad Shami and Lockie Ferguson have become more than less the best opening bowling pair in this IPL 2022. Yash Dayal impressed on his debut and is expected to continue his good work.

Rashid Khan has been amazing in his spin bowling in middle overs has stifled run making against any opposition.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS

Chennai Super Kings finally got onto the points table after their win over Royal Challengers Bangalore and they would like to continue the winning ways. But the form of Ruturaj Gaikwad remains a concern for them.

This has been somewhat offset by Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube’s scintillating exploits with the bat against oppositions, but its high time other batters also take responsibility. Moeen Ali has looked good in patches and he would be a key component going forward.

In the bowling department, Dwayne Bravo and Maheesh Theekshana have been more than brilliant while Chris Jordan has provided good support, and Mukesh Choudhary is learning on the job. Deepak Chahar being ruled out of the IPL 2022 is a big blow to CSK and they are yet to name a replacement.
