Rajasthan Royals (RR) like all the other franchises are gearing up for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), with the season set to kick-start on Saturday (March 26).

The franchise acquired some big names at the mega auction like Yuzvendra Chahal, R Ashwin, Shimron Hetmyer, Jimmy Neesham among others. Much is expected from the 2008 winners who are being touted as one of the teams to watch out for.

Ahead of the season, Chahal has been engaging in some fun on social media with the fans and his colleagues. He hilariously 'hacked' into the RR Twitter account and entertained everyone, while pitching himself for an opening spot with Jos Buttler who was retained by the franchise.

The English wicketkeeper-batter has resisted the offer thus far from the leg-spinner who rates his own batting skills highly despite his limited returns.

On Thursday, the RR Twitter account shared a video of Chahal asking Buttler the same question, with Neesham also all ears to the conversation.

Earlier, they had shared a picture of Buttler resting on the ground during a practice session, imitating the famous pose of Chahal, who was also hilariously photoshopped in the image.

RR will play Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 29 in their first match of the 2022 season.
