ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE

RCB team was given a huge setback as they lost to KKR in one of the worst drubbings in the IPL 2021. Their net run rate took a hit as well as they lost the match with 10 overs to spare and now have to not only keep winning to stay in contention for the playoffs but take care of the NRR section.

IPL 2021: Memefest ensues as KKR humiliates RCB in their encounter in Abu Dhabi

Their biggest concern has been the team combination with Virat Kohli’s bat not doing its job and the fact that the management has to manage AB de Villiers’ back issues, giving the keeping duties to KS Bharat in the process.

Virat Kohli | BCCI-IPLRCB batting didn’t do much against KKR spinners and they will face two very good spinners in Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja against CSK. Jadeja had scored the runs and took wickets in their last encounter in Mumbai and will be looking to repeat his performance.

For Virat Kohli, it would be getting his troops together and making sure they do their job to their fullest abilities. RCB might also make some changes to their XI, like bringing in Shahbaz Ahmed for Sachin Baby, as Ahmed showed good batting abilities in the past and is a very good spinner as well.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) got out of jail against MI in their first encounter of the second leg of the IPL 2021. This was due to the amazing batting of Ruturaj Gaikwad and tremendous bowling performances from Dwayne Bravo and Deepak Chahar.

MS Dhoni will have the luxury of choosing Sam Curran in the XI as well, but with Bravo doing well with both the bat and the ball against MI, it might seem that CSK goes with the same XI that won against Rohit Sharma and co.

Virat Kohli (C), Devdutt Padikkal, KS Bharat (WK), AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga, Shahbaz Ahmed, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

CSK COC Predicted Playing XI:
