Both the teams are coming off a win in their last matches with PBKS stunning Royal Challengers Bangalore and DC defeating Kolkata Knight Riders.

Keeping this in mind, Team COC presents the Predicted Playing XIs for the PBKS v DC match in Ahmedabad.

PUNJAB KINGS (PBKS)

Punjab Kings (PBKS) team is coming off a victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) which is a brilliant confidence booster for them. KL Rahul led from the front with a brilliant knock of 91* in 57 balls.

Also starring for them was Chris Gayle and Harpreet Brar with the ball, who removed the three big wickets of AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, and Virat Kohli.

The only problem for the Punjab team is the form of Nicholas Pooran, while Deepak Hooda has simmered down after his brilliant knock in the early matches.

Gayle and Rahul have been in terrific form for PBKS | BCCI-IPLHarpreet also contributed with the bat as well, hitting a four and six. PBKS might be tempted to try out Dawid Malan for Nicholas Pooran, given that he has made 4 ducks in 6 matches

In the bowling department, Riley Meredith was hit on his leg and might sit out to get some rest and heal, while Jhye Richardson takes his place in the XI. Mohammad Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, and Chris Jordan might continue in the playing XI against Delhi Capitals.

The match is an important one for Punjab as a win here might give them the boost they require to stay on the path of playoffs qualification.

DELHI CAPITALS (DC)

DC has been in terrific form with Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan giving them bumper openings. Rishabh Pant, Shimron Hetmyer, and Marcus Stoinis have done well in the limited chances they have gotten.

DC have been helped by Shaw and Dhawan's opening partnership | BCCI-IPLThe injury to Amit Mishra has messed up their combination a bit, but Lalit Yadav did well in the last match, while Akshar Patel is leading from the front, with Avesh Khan and Ishant Sharma leading the pace bowling attack.

For DC, the problem is the form of Kagiso Rabada and they might look to bring in Anrich Nortje and bolster their bowling attack which has helped them keep their place in the top half of the points table.
