Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered their first win of the IPL 2021 by three wickets against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday (April 15). It was another close finish for RR after their last ball loss against Punjab Kings, but this time Chris Morris ensured they finish on the winning side.

The all-rounder played an unbeaten 18-ball 36 runs knock to help RR chase down 148 with two balls remaining. They were 90/6 at one stage and after David Miller got out, scoring 62 runs off 43 balls, Rajasthan found themselves struggling at 104/7.

But Morris stepped up at the right time. He sealed the game by smashing a couple of sixes in the last over off Tom Curran, before hitting Kagiso Rabada for 15 runs in the penultimate over.

Fans of Rajasthan Royals were delighted with his innings and they felt Morris justified his price of INR 16.25 crore in the auction. RR are currently at number 5 in the points table after playing two matches.
