Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took to their Twitter handle and announced that their star players Andre Russell and Sunil Narine have arrived in India.
Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) is set to begin on 9th April and will be played across 6 cities in India with Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad hosting the playoffs, and the final of the tournament. None of the teams will be playing at their home grounds.
However, with less than three weeks remaining for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, the preparations for the 14th edition of the cash-rich league have already started to begin as a player from all franchises are joining the training camps of their respective franchises.

In a posted by KKR, Andre Russell and Sunil Narine can be seen getting out of their car and heading into the hotel, where they undergo temperature scans.
"The moment you've all been waiting for... The 2018 and 2019 MVP's are in the house! #Toofanifans, excited to get this party started? @Rusell12A @SunilPnarine24 #KKR #HaiTaiyaar #IPL2021," KKR captioned the video.
Both Andre Russell and Sunil Narine have been a vital part of the franchise over the last few years and will be crucial to the KKR’s chances this season. KKR failed to qualify for the playoffs last season and finished IPL 2020 with seven wins and seven losses.
However, both Russell and Narine didn't had a great IPL last season as the former manage just 117 runs and six wickets form 10 matches without a single half-century while the latter made 121 runs with one half-century from 10 games and picked up five wickets.
KKR will kick start their campaign on 11th April Against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Chennai.
