Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Amitabh Bachchan celebrated the fifth title win of Mumbai Indians (MI). MI defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) in the final of IPL 2020 to win the title by five wickets.
MI made it look like a one-sided match with a strong start to the 157-run chase in IPL 13 final. Skipper Rohit Sharma was the highest scorer for them with 68 runs off 51 deliveries.
After the win, Ranveer shared a video on his Instagram account in which he was grooving to the song of his movie Gully Boy. "CHAMPIONS!!!!! Make that 5 BABY !!!!! ???????????????????? ???????????????????? @mumbaiindians," he wrote in the caption.

The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a tweet and called MI's fifth-title win incredible. "T 3617 - YEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.. MUMBAI INDIANS .. VICTORY FOR THE 5TH TIME.. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE.."
Mumbai became only the second IPL team to defend their title after Chennai Super Kings. In IPL 2011, CSK had defended their titles by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final.
MI are currently the most successful team with five IPL titles. They have won IPL in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. The fifth win is their only win in an even year, which also broke their 'odd' year jinx.
