The Mumbai Indians (MI) completed their dominating season in IPL 2020 with an emphatic victory over the Delhi Capitals in the Final at Dubai. With a 5-wicket victory on November 10, MI lifted the IPL trophy for a record fifth time and became the first team in IPL history to do so.
Sachin Tendulkar, who has been MI's icon player, captain, and an Orange Cap winner in the earlier seasons, has been their mentor since 2014. This year, he could not be with the team in the UAE but was supporting them throughout the season.
The batting maestro delivered a motivational speech for MI on the eve of the Final. He continued to cheer for the Mumbai Indians on social media after their victory and also shared his celebrations.
In a tweet, he congratulated the team for achieving a title victory and posted their pictures. In the other tweet, he shared a GIF of himself celebrating at home. He wrote, "What a victory by the boys! Complete domination by @mipaltan! Well done to the players and the support staff who have continued from where they left off last year. #MIvDC #IPLFinal"
