India all-rounder Nitish Reddy impressed one and all with his batting exploits in the second T20I against Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Wednesday (October 9).
Batting at No. 4, Reddy slammed a half-century off just 27 balls. It was an eye-catching performance in what was just the second T20I of his international career.
Reddy and Rinku Singh led India’s recovery with a superb partnership of 108 runs for the fourth wicket after the hosts ended the powerplay on 45/3. The pair cleared boundary with ease to put India in a commanding position.
Nitish Reddy was eventually dismissed by Mustafizur Rahman in the 14th over for 74 off 34 balls. His maiden T20I fifty was studded with four boundaries and seven sixes.

Apart from Nitish Reddy, the likes of Rinku Singh (53 off 29), Hardik Pandya (32 off 19) and Riyan Parag (15 off 6) made crucial contributions with the bat, helping India rack up a mammoth 221/9 on the board.
Having won the first T20I in Gwalior by seven wickets, Team India have already taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The hosts will be determined to continue the momentum and take an unassailable lead with a victory in Delhi.
