Indian fans don’t have a lot to cheer on Day 2 of the third Test against England as the hosts got bundled out for just 145 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
After bowling out England for 112, India were 99 for 3 at the close of play on Day 1. However, Joe Root (5-8) and Jack Leach (4-54) spun a web around Indian batsmen to restrict their first innings lead to 33 runs.
Amid the collapse, India pacer Ishant Sharma, who is featuring in his 100th Test match, produced a brilliant six to cheer up the fans.
During the 51st over of India’s innings, Ishant smashed a delivery from Leach over mid-off to earn first six of his Test career.

Ishant Sharma eventually remained unbeaten on 10 as the home team endured a nightmare with the bat lasted only 53.2 overs
