India's women Basketball player Pratima Singh congratulated her husband and India's fast bowler Ishant Sharma for playing his 100th Test match. The pacer became the 11th Indian cricketer to reach 100 Tests when he featured in the side against England for the third Test.
Pratima wished many more success for Ishant in the future while posting pictures with him on Instagram. Among Indian fast bowlers, Ishant is second to achieve the feat. Only Kapil Dev has played more Tests (131).
"All the highs and lows , cycles of happiness and sadness , passion and stress , hardwork and dedication , discipline, missing parties and attending practices instead and travelling for long periods of time. I've seen you strive for better every day and in every match.
"It was all worth it love !!! To a special one “THE 100th“ Wish you many more matches and wickets in future ❤️ @ishant.sharma29", wrote Pratima, who got married to the India pacer in 2016.
Before the match at the Narendra Modi stadium, Ishant was felicitated by President Ramnath Kovind and Home Minister Amit Shah for his achievement.
The 32-year-old has already achieved a milestone earlier during the ongoing Test series against England and completed 300 Test wickets.
