India had resumed their innings from 174/3 on the second day and Rahane completed his fifty before he fell to Taijul Islam. Kohli went onto make 136 with 18 fours before he was caught brilliantly by Taijul off Ebadot. However, after that the Bangladeshi bowlers picked some quick wickets, leading to Virat Kohli declaring the innings on 347/9d with a lead of 241 runs.

Ebadot Hossain picked 3/91, Al-Amin Hossain picked 3/85 and Taijul Islam got 2/77.
