India's first-ever T20I defeat against Bangladesh angered the fans on social media. Defending a target of 149, India lost the grip of the game in the last three overs. The third last over which was bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal produced an opportunity to dismiss well-set Mushfiqur Rahim. But an easy catch was put down by Krunal Pandya at deep mid-wicket.
Fans were in shock after an easy opportunity wasn't grabbed. To make it worse, Khaleel Ahmed, who was supposed to stop runs in the penultimate over when Bangladesh needed 22, leaked four consecutive boundaries to leave fans hopeless.
India lost the match by seven wickets, and Rahim ended up scoring 60* (43) with the help of eight fours and a six. Rohit had saved Khaleel's three overs for the death overs, but it didn't pay off as the bowler let down in the final over.
