After a successful series against South Africa, where the 3-match T20I series was drawn 1-1 and India swept the Test series 3-0; the Men in Blue will be gearing up for a new challenge, as Bangladesh is poised to tour India in November.

The Tigers will play 3 T20Is and 2 Tests on the tour and the T20I matches begin from November 3. The first match will be played in Delhi, the second T20I will be played in Rajkot on November 7 and the last match will be hosted by Nagpur on November 10.
The selectors have rested captain Virat Kohli for this series and Rohit Sharma will captain in his place. The team sees three new additions in Sanju Samson, who has received a call back after his 2015 debut. Shardul Thakur also comes back into the team, while Mumbai's Shivam Dube has been given a chance as an all-rounder.
Ravindra Jadeja has been rested from the series.
