The ongoing Ranji Trophy 2022 final between Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh has seen high-class batting performances by both sides.
While Mumbai rode on Sarfaraz Khan’s 134 to post a first-innings total of 374 runs on the board, centuries by Yash Dubey (133) Shubham Singh (116) and Rajat Patidar took MP past 500 runs.
The crowd in Bengaluru has also lighted the atmosphere in the summit clash. On Day 4 of the ongoing match when Patidar, who also plays for RCB, reached his ton, the fans applauded the batter and there were also chants of ‘RCB, RCB’.
The noise in the stadium went even louder and the chants of ‘CSK, CSK’ were heard when Indian pacer Deepak Chahar made a surprise entry as he was seen walking on the sidelines of the ground.
Here’s the video:
Chahar suffered a back injury a few months ago and is currently undergoing rehabilitation at NCA in Bengaluru. The bowler missed the IPL 15 due to the same and is expected to be fit by T20 World Cup 2022.
