Indian cricketers showed teamwork off the field during the third Test when injured all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja got a bit of help from his teammate Navdeep Saini to eat a banana.

Jadeja, who was hit on his left thumb while facing a bouncer from Mitchell Starc, has a broken thumb. He took the banana served to him to his teammate. Saini pealed it off for him showing perfect teamwork.

The Twitter account of 7 Cricket, broadcasters of the series, shared the video with fans. "A bit of teamwork, Saini peeling the banana for Jadeja ???? #AUSvIND", they wrote.

Despite the injury, Jadeja was wearing the Indian kit to come out and bat if the team needed him. India were fighting to save the match on the last day of the Test match. They needed to chase down 407 to win the match, but with the dismissal of Rishabh Pant (97) and Cheteshwar Pujara (77), India started focusing on a draw.

The all-rounder Jadeja has been ruled out of the last Test of the Australia tour and the first two matches of the upcoming Test series against England at home, starting on February 5.
