“I’m perfectly alright, grateful for love and care” says Shoaib Malik after accident scare

Former Pakistani skipper, Shoaib Malik escaped from a horrific crash in Lahore as his sports car rammed into the truck near a restaurant close to NHPC. 

With less than two months to go for the 6th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the Pakistan Cricket Board had organized a player draft for the tournament which is slated to begin from 20th February.

Shoaib Malik, 38, who plies his trade with the Peshawar Zalmi side in the previous edition of the Pakistan Super League graced the gala event as the franchise's representative.

Malik, while returning back to his hotel from the event met with a horrific accident as he lost control of his vehicle before colliding 'head-on' with a truck that was parked nearby a local restaurant.

Regarded as one of the finest all-rounders to play white-ball cricket for Pakistan. Shoaib Malik's luxurious sports car rammed into a truck near a restaurant close to NHPC. Though Malik's car was totaled, the former Pakistani cricketer escaped the crash unhurt.

Addressing the car accident he survived, Former Pakistani skipper, Shoaib Malik said that he’s perfectly alright. 

"I am perfectly all right everybody. It was just a happenstance accident and Almighty has been extremely Benevolent. Thank you to each one of you who've reached out. I am deeply grateful for all the love and care...."Shoaib Malik tweeted.

According to reports it has been brought to that notice that Shoaib Malik tried to overtake Wahab Riaz’s car and lost control of his fancy sports ride. Shoaib Malik has represented Pakistan in 35 Test, 287 ODIs, and 116 T20Is and has amassed a total of 11,767 runs.
