India cricket great Sachin Tendulkar and World Cup 2011 hero Yuvraj Singh have shared their views on the racial abuse against Indian cricketers at SCG. India pacer Mohammed Siraj complained about the racist remarks from the crowd twice in the third Test against Australia.

Sachin took to Twitter and said sports should unite people and not divide. He added that ricket never discriminates against anyone based on colour or religion. He said the hateful people shouldn't be allowed inside the sports venue.

Tagging Cricket Australia, BCCI, and ICC, Sachin wrote, "SPORT is meant to UNITE us, not DIVIDE us. Cricket never discriminates. The bat & ball recognizes talent of the person holding them - not race, colour, religion or nationality. Those who don’t understand this have NO PLACE in a sporting arena."

Yuvraj echoed Sachin's words and said the spirit of unity should be encouraged. "Cricket has always brought together people of different backgrounds and nationalities. This spirit of unity should be encouraged. I hope people come to understand that there is no discrimination in the world of sport. Never has been and never should be.", the tweet read.

Indian pacer Siraj was allegedly called ‘brown dog’ and ‘big monkey’. Earlier, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said that he had spoken to Cricket Australia to register an official protest.
