Prithvi Shaw might have failed to make a mark with the bat in the warm-up game against Australia ‘A’, but the Mumbaikar left everyone in awe with his fielding brilliance at the Drummoyne Oval in Sydney.

During the second day of the practice match, Shaw grabbed a stunning catch to dismiss Tim Paine for 44.
In the final session, speedster Umesh Yadav tried to test Paine with short pitch stuff and the latter went for a pull of one such delivery. He got a decent amount of bat to it but Shaw, who was stationed at square leg, managed to pluck one out of the thin air.

Coming to the match, India ‘A’ posted 247/9 (declared) in their first innings on the back of skipper Ajinkya Rahane’s unbeaten 117 and Cheteshwar Pujara’s 54.
In reply, the hosts were reeling at 98/5 before youngster Cameron Green and Paine kept India ‘A’ bowlers at bay with a 104-run stand.
With one more day’s play remaining, the warm-up match is likely to end in a draw.
