Thangarasu Natarajan, better known as T Natarajan was the revelation for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team in the IPL 2020. After the franchise suffered from injuries to two of their top tier medium pacers in Mitchell Marsh and Bhuvneshwar Kumar; T Natarajan stepped up as the key bowler for the team.
While Sandeep Sharma wreaked havoc with the new ball and Rashid Khan bamboozled the batsmen in the middle overs, Natarajan was the man for David Warner in the death overs as his yorkers even fell the likes of AB de Villiers.
He finished with 16 wickets in 16 matches at an economy of 8.02 and helped SRH reach the playoffs. Though initially, he was not selected for the Indian tour of Australia, an injury to Varun Chakravarthy, another performer of IPL 2020, opened the doors for a maiden call-up for Natarajan for the 3-match T20I series.
