AUS v IND 2020-21: WATCH- R Ashwin troubles Ajinkya Rahane in nets; Kohli takes one-handed blinder

Indian team practicing while in quarantine in Sydney | InstagramThe Indian team landed in Sydney, Australia on Thursday and went straight into quarantine for two weeks in the Sydney Olympic Park’s Pullman hotel. However, they have been permitted to practice and train during the quarantine period, which they began on Friday, November 15, 2020.

BCCI shared photos of the Indian team in the gym and doing outdoor training with the likes of Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya, and others seen jogging in the ground. Meanwhile, the team also took to the nets as well.

R Ashwin, India’s ace spinner was seen bowling to Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, as they prepare for the four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy which begins in December. Ashwin shared a couple of videos on his Instagram account of him bowling to Rahane and captioned them, “Right arm over !! The BCCI also shared the proceedings of practice with its fans and showed Virat Kohli in slips practice and was seen taking a good one-handed catch, as the video showed a text saying ‘catches win matches’.

 

The tour begins with the ODI series with Sydney hosting the first two ODIs on Nov 27 and 29, while Canberra will host the third match on Dec 2.
