Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is currently with the team for the ODI series against Zimbabwe, is surely having a great time on the tour. 

Although Gaikwad hasn’t got an opportunity to play so far, he has had quite a bit of fun during the tour so far. Recently, he featured in the rapid-fire round and the video of the same was uploaded by BCCI on their Twitter account.

The rapid-fire round started with Gaikwad naming Dosa as his favourite food and went on to say that he would’ve opted to play tennis if he wasn’t a cricketer. 

His answer related to tennis paved way for another question as he was asked to choose between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. In reply, he went out of the box and named Roger Federer. 

Gaikwad then showcased his wit as answered a tricky question with a cheeky reply. He was asked if he would like to train with MS Dhoni or go to dinner with Sachin Tendulkar. In reply, he said that he would train with keeper-batter, after which he would have dinner with the batting great. 

He also said that he would prefer playing spinner over seamer and named Suryakumar Yadav as the one who plays the pick-up shot the best. He also picked Lord’s over MCG to make his Test debut. 

Gaikwad also named Ishan Kishan as his best batting partner and mentioned Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as his all-time favourite cricketers.

When asked if he ever gets stuck on a deserted island who would he pick, the young batter named Kishan and Suryakumar as his partners.
