Fans got to see a rather amusing incident during the second ODI between Zimbabwe and India in Harare on Saturday (August 20) where Akshar Patel was seen trying to save himself from a throw by Ishan Kishan.
This incident took place in the 28th over of Zimbabwe’s innings when Deepak Hooda came into the attack and bowled the second ball of his second over, which went into the deep square leg area and Ishan had to throw it towards the bowler.
Ishan Kishan swung the ball quickly towards the wicket and Patel, who was standing in the midwicket area, had to duck for cover to save himself from the throw.
As the all-rounder was stunned to see the ball coming so fast towards him, he sat down and tried to cover his head with his hands, but couldn’t save his body from being hit by the ball, which left him agitated.
Later, Akshar stared at Ishan, as the young wicketkeeper-batter immediately put his hand up for an apology. However, Ishan didn't do it intentionally, but he had to face the all-rounder's wrath, which was even noticed by the commentators as well.

Coming back to the match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first, and Mohammed Siraj gave the visiting team a good start with the new ball. However, Shardul Thakur was the standout performer for India with the ball, as he snared three wickets to help his team bundle out Zimbabwe for 161 runs.
Akshar, Siraj, Hooda, Kuldeep Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna took one wicket each.
