Indian squad for the three-match ODI series on their tour of West Indies has been announced by the BCCI on June 23, 2023, along with the Test squad.
The first Test will be played in Dominica from July 12 onwards and the second Test will begin on July 20th in Trinidad.
The three ODIs will be played on July 27, July 29 in Barbados, and August 1 in Tarouba, Trinidad. The first T20I will also be played in Tarouba on August 3, with the second and third matches to be played in Providence, Guyana on August 6 and 8 respectively.
The last two T20Is will be played in Fort Lauderhill, USA on August 12 and 13.
No rest has been given to Rohit Sharma as he will captain the side in the series with Hardik Pandya as his deputy.
Apart from Rohit, Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad have been named in the squad which also sees the likes of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ishan Kishan. Returning to the ODI plans is Sanju Samson who has been named as the designated keeper along with Kishan.
The spin unit sees Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav, while the pace department sees the likes of Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, and Umran Malik.
Mohammad Shami has been rested due to his workload management.
