Team India are yet to lose a white-ball series under Rohit Sharma ever since he took charge of the national side as a full-time captain late last year.
Under Rohit, the Men in Blue won the ODI and T20I series against England last month and they have taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the ongoing five-T20I series against West Indies.
No wonder, Rohit enjoys a massive fan following across the globe. On Saturday (August 6), cricket fraternity once again got a glimpse of his crazy following after the fourth T20I versus West Indies in Florida.
In a video doing rounds on social media, the Indian fans based in the United States can be seen falling through a barricade to touch Rohit as he was waving at them after coming close to the grandstand.
Here’s the video:
Coming to the fourth T20I, Rohit Sharma slammed 33 off 16 balls to lead the foundation of India’s massive 191/5 in 20 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant top scored with 31-ball 44 while Sanju Samson remained unbeaten on 30 off 23 balls.
In reply, India skittled out West Indies for a paltry 132 in 19.1 overs. Arshdeep Singh starred with the ball for the visitors, claiming three wickets by conceding 12 runs in his 3.1 overs whereas Avesh Khan (2-17), Ravi Bishnoi (2-27) and Akshar Patel (2-48) returned with two scalps each.
