Rohit Sharma widely known as the 'Hitman' is one of the best batsmen especially in limited-overs cricket at the moment. His international career began in 2007 but in the first a few years he couldn't perform upto his potential but then in Champions Trophy 2013 he started opening in ODI cricket and since then he never looked back and in coming years went on to score big runs and hundreds for fun and over the years became one of the best batsmen of all time in limited-overs cricket. 1 - Rohit Sharma became the first-ever batsman to score hundreds in both innings of the maiden Test as an opener. He scored 176 and 127 runs against South Africa in Visakhapatnam Test last year.
3 - Rohit Sharma is the only batsman to score three double hundreds in ODI cricket and also holds the record of the highest individual score in ODI cricket. He scored his first ODI double hundred against Australia (209 at Bangalore, 2013), second against Sri Lanka (264 at Kolkata, 2014) and third also against Sri Lanka (208* at Mohali, 2017).
4 - Rohit Sharma has hit four centuries in T20 Internationals - the most by any batsman.
5 - Rohit Sharma is the only batsman to score five hundred in a single edition of the ODI World Cup. He scored hundreds against South Africa, Pakistan, England, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka one each in World Cup 2019.
