West Indies beat Afghanistan by 9 wickets in the one-off Test match at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow and won the series by 1-0. 

On the first day West Indies won the toss and opted to bowl first. Spinner Rahkeem Cornwall took full advantage of spin conditions and took a 7 wickets haul and helped his team to bowl out Afghanistan for just 187 runs. In reply, Shamarh Brooks' maiden Test hundred and useful knocks from John Campbell and Shane Dowrich helped West Indies to post 277 runs on board. In the second innings also Afghanistan struggled and bowled out for just 120 runs and set a target of 31 runs for West Indies which they chased down by 9 wickets.
