Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan grabbed the headlines with his provocative gestures during the recently held Asia Cup 2025.
After reaching his half-century in the Super 4 clash against arch-rivals India, Farhan mimicked firing an AK-47 with his bat.
His gun-shot celebration drew criticism, especially after the Men in Green were hammered by India in all three meetings of the continental event, including the final.
However, it seems that Sahibzada Farhan hasn’t learnt lessons from the defeats. On Friday (October 3), he unveiled a new bat sticker, inspired by his controversial AK-47 celebration against India.
The 28-year-old named the sticker “Gunmode” and stated in a video that he plans to use it in future matches, hinting that his provocative theatrics are here to stay.
Here’s the video:
While Sahibzada Farhan recorded scores of 40, 58 and 57 in three Asia Cup fixtures against India, his performance wasn’t good enough to help Pakistan win.
