India’s batting trio of Virat Kohli, captain Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul were involved in a hilarious incident in the aftermath of the Men in Blue’s 3-0 ODI series win over England.
After the team defeated England by 142 runs in the final ODI in Ahmedabad and captain Rohit Sharma received the trophy from ICC chief Jay Shah, a photo shoot happened with the winning team and the trophy.
As the boys celebrated the team's win, a video showed Rohit, Rahul, and Kohli walking past the trophy. It was then Kohli realized that someone had to pick up the trophy as well, that’s when KL Rahul and Rohit walked back and Rahul picked the trophy up.

Meanwhile, India decimated England in all three ODIs and India captain Rohit Sharma was the happiest.
"There is a bit of freedom in the squad to go out there and play the way you want. The World Cup (2023) was a perfect example of that. We want to continue to do that. There will be times it will not fall in place but that's okay," said Rohit in the post-match presentation.
He was very happy with the team putting up a collective show and everyone putting up satisfactory performances.
"Very very pleasing (with the way the series went). We knew there would be challenges that we could face. Obviously, there are certain things we are looking at, and I am not going to stand here and explain those. It is our job as well to keep some consistency within the squad and the communication is clear. Obviously a champion team wants to get better every game and move forward from there," he added.
Shubman Gill was given the Player of the Match for his 112 and Player of the Series for 259 runs across the three ODIs.
