India captain in Tests and ODIs, Rohit Sharma shared an emotional goodbye post for the year 2024 on December 31, 2024. Rohit Sharma is in Sydney, Australia with the Indian team for the fifth and final Test of the ongoing BGT 2024.

The video post began with him enthusiastically celebrating the Holi celebration, followed by interactions with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, fans, and other close friends. Rohit then wrote about the 1-1 Test series in South Africa, as well as a photo of himself and Rinku Singh.

Rohit shared memories of India's 4-1 series win over England earlier this year, as well as his iconic 'Garden me ghoomne wale bande' post on social media. They were followed by India's victory in the Men's T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and the United States, during which Rohit declared his T20I retirement.

Rohit was seen holding his daughter Samaira on his shoulders and celebrating during an open-bus procession in India.

Rohit also shared a sorrowful image in which he was seen returning to the pavilion after exiting. The video ended with Rohit posting on social media after becoming a father for the second time.

Rohit, 37, captioned the post: "For all the ups and downs, and everything in between, Thank you 2024."
