Ben Stokes, England captain, revealed that he apologized to his fellow teammates after he let his emotions show in his body language on the field. This comes after England lost the second Test of the three-match series to Pakistan in Multan.

Stokes was spotted losing his calm after England slip fielders, including Joe Root, dropped routine catches that proved decisive in the second Test, which the tourists lost by 152 runs.

Ben Stokes was seen uttering the F-word on the field after fast bowler Brydon Carse took down Salman Ali Agha twice in an over. Both wicketkeeper Jamie Smith and Root made catches. Salman received reprieves while he was batting in single digits.

The middle-order batsman scored 63 important runs, extending Pakistan's second-inning lead to 296 runs.

England would’ve gotten a lesser target had they been clean in the field. Set 297 runs to win, England was bundled for 144 runs as Noman Ali picked 8/46, completing 11 wickets in the Test. Sajid Khan added 2 wickets to his first innings haul of 7/111 and was named Player of the Match.

Pakistan ended a nearly four-year wait for a Test match win at home and leveled the ongoing series against England.

England captain Ben Stokes revealed he apologized to his teammates for showcasing his frustration on the field on Day 3 of their second Test against Pakistan in Multan.

"No one means to drop catches but it just proves how important catches are in these sub-continent conditions, they don't come along that often. I apologised to the group last night as it's the first time in my captaincy that I've let my emotions and how I was feeling with the way the game was unfolding show in my body language," Stokes told the broadcasters Sky Sports.

"I owned up to that and was very annoyed at myself for letting that out. It's something that I don't want to do or be seen to be doing so I apologised to the group about that. Poor old me, I was a tired grumpy old man last night! You won't see that happen again," he added.
