Aakash Chopra’s brutal 'Mohammad Amir' response to a troll over Jasprit Bumrah's no-ball post

A troll page tried to mock Chopra over his jibe at PCB for dropping Babar Azam and co.

Aakash Chopra's savage response to a troll page trying to troll him | XAakash Chopra gave a fitting reply to a troll page after it tried to be smart in replying to the former India cricketer’s jibe to Pakistan Cricket.

The debate began when Chopra made a lighthearted jab at the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) decision to withdraw one of its key batters, Babar Azam, and pacers Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah for the rest of the Test series against England.

Referring to Babar's omission as him being "rested," Chopra's comment sparked emotions online. According to a PCB spokesman, the players were "spared from the team to give them rest so that they can come back afresh," supporting the board's decision.

"In Asia, we don't 'drop' players...we 'rest' them. In fact, we don't even drop catches...we rest the ball on the ground," Chopra posted on X on Monday, seemingly about the PCB's clarification.

However, a troll page on X decided to needle Aakash Chopra and posted the photo of Jasprit Bumrah bowling a no-ball during the 2017 Champions Trophy final. Incidentally, this no-ball helped Fakhar Zaman survive a catch and his century later helped Pakistan defeat India in the summit clash.

The troll page captioned the image: "In Asia, we don't do a no ball. We just cross the line."

Not the one to take such posts lightly, Aakash Chopra posted photos of Mohammad Amir bowling no-balls in England in a Test in 2010. Notably, Amir, Mohammad Asif, and Salman Butt were banned for various periods after they were found guilty of taking money for bowling deliberate no-balls.

You shouldn’t have gone down that route,” Chopra posted.
