Rishabh Pant of India B and Kuldeep Yadav of India A were seen engaging in some hilarious banter which was caught by stump mic. This came as India B beat India A by 76 runs on Sunday (September 8) in the Duleep Trophy 2024 match played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Pant, who was playing his first red-ball match since a life-threatening traffic accident on December 30, 2022, led India B in the second inning. He smashed 61 runs from 47 balls and, alongside Sarfaraz Khan, took the attack to India A bowlers.
Rishabh Pant contributed significantly to the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led team's victory by grabbing five catches behind the wickets in the second innings, and he also made life difficult for his India and Delhi Capitals teammate Kuldeep Yadav with his continuous verbal taunting.
In various videos that have become popular on the internet, Pant can be heard making comments to distract Kuldeep, and he even succeeded when the star spinner was caught by Musheer Khan off Washington Sundar's bowling on the second delivery of the 48th over.
The first viral video showed Rishabh Pant asking fielders to come out to keep Kuldeep from taking a single. When Kuldeep said that he won’t take a single, Pant asked him to swear on his mother.

Rishabh: “Kha le Maa kasam nhi lega,” the first video showed Pant torturing Kuldeep.
In the second video, Kuldeep Yadav was seemingly fed up with Rishabh Pant’s constant banter from behind the stumps. When Kuldeep asks Pant to shut it, Pant screams at him to get out.

Kuldeep : “Kyu pareshan kra hai yaar
Rishabh: “Out ho na jaldiiii” the second conversation went this way.
Finally, when Kuldeep Yadav was dismissed by Washington Sundar, the batter walked off smilingly, as Rishabh Pant commented: “yeaah out hogya out hogya”
After winning the first round match of Duleep Trophy 2024, India B will now face India C in the next match, which is set to take place at ACA ADCA Ground in Anantapur from Thursday (September 12).
