Sachin Tendulkar urged by netizens to help Vinod Kambli after his heartbreaking video surfaces

Vinod Kambli seen struggling to walk in a video | XA heartbreaking video, supposedly of former India cricketer Vinod Kambli has surfaced on social media. In the said video, the former cricketer is seen struggling to stand on his own and is probably in an inebriated state.

He is seen asking passersby for help, who then support him and escort him to the side of the road. While the authenticity of the video has not been verified, nor it can be confirmed that the video was a recent one, fans were concerned for the safety of the cricketer.

Kambli has had various health concerns over the last decade, including a heart attack in 2013 while driving in Mumbai. A year before that, he had angioplasty on two of his occluded arteries.

Fans on social media were concerned about Kambli's failing health and asked his good buddy and India batting star Sachin Tendulkar for assistance.

Sachin and Kambli have been close friends since they were ten and twelve, respectively. Both are from Mumbai and were mentored by the late Ramakant Achrekar. The two later went on to represent India at the international level.

Sachin made his debut for India in November 1989, and Kambli first wore the Indian shirt in 1991. Between 1991 and 2000, Kambli played 104 one-day internationals for India, amassing 2477 runs at 32.59, with 14 fifties and two centuries. He also played 17 Tests, amassing 1084 runs at 54.20, including four tons and three fifties.

Following the viral video, followers tagged Kambli's friend Sachin, encouraging him to help him.
