Kieron Pollard might play only a handful of T20 leagues around the world, but his big hitting prowess is still unequaled. Something similar was seen during The Hundred when he had Kumar Sangakkara ducking for cover in commentary box.

Batting for Southern Brave, the Caribbean big-hitter Kieron Pollard smashed Welsh Fire's Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf for a six at backward square leg. The match was being played at the Sophia Gardens ground in Cardiff on Monday.

The commentary box at the Sophia Gardens is at ground level, very near to the boundary ropes. The ball appeared to be heading for the glass window of the box as the commentators, including Sri Lanka icon Kumar Sangakkara and former England player Robert Croft, made evasive movement that was captured on video.

Fortunately for everyone concerned, the ball came up short and hit the electronic boundary board.

Pollard finished with 17 off 12 balls in Southern Brave's 139-run batting first innings.

In response, the Welsh Fire were bowled out for 97 with five balls to spare, handing the Southern Brave a comfortable 42-run win.
