The madness for the T20 World Cup 2024 wining Indian team during their open bus parade in Mumbai on Thursday was truly crazy. Thousands on cricket fans thronged to the streets from Marine Drive to the Wankhede stadium to cheer on the Men in Blue.
The victorious Indian cricket team, fresh from winning the T20 World Cup, arrived in India yesterday and spent the first half of the day visiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, where they had breakfast.
The open-bus show, scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM, began late, but once it began, the triumph parade was electrifying to see as swarms of people gathered to celebrate the newly crowned world champions' homecoming.
While the players soaked in every moment of adulation from the fans, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and a few other players spotted a man perched dangerously on a tree branch to get a closer photo of the Indian team.
Kohli was one of the very first to spot the man, and immediately brought it to Rohit's notice. The India captain, who is no stranger to being heckled, immediately asked the man to climb down, but to no avail, leaving Kohli in splits.
