The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 edition, slated to get underway on March 22, is awaiting the return of MS Dhoni in the Chennai Super Kings colours. Last year, he led CSK to a record-equalling fifth IPL title.
Ahead of the upcoming season, Dhoni is hogging the headlines for his vintage hairstyle. The pictures and videos of his training, sporting long hairs, have taken the social media by storm.
On the eve of the IPL 2024 opener, Dhoni has become the talk of town for his dance steps in a new advertisement.
The advertisement features Dhoni and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol. Much to the surprise of the fans, the CSK skipper can be seen performing Bobby’s iconic dance steps in the ad.
Speculations are rife that the IPL 2024 could well be Dhoni’s last season in professional cricket. However, the 42-year-old hasn’t yet suggested anything about it.
CSK will be playing four matches during the first phase of the IPL 2024 season, including the tournament opener against RCB at Chepauk.
The defending champions will face Gujarat Titans on March 26 at Chepauk before taking on Delhi Capitals in Vizag on March 31. CSK’s last match in the first phase is scheduled against SRH in Hyderabad on April 5.
