India cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife actress Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby boy on February 15, 2024. The couple announced the good news on February 20, 2024 on social media and revealed the name of the baby as well- Akaay.

Virat Kohli has been out of action since the Afghanistan T20Is and is not part of the Indian team for the ongoing five-Test series against England also. The rumors of Anushka's pregnancy were confirmed by former South African cricketer AB de Villiers on his YouTube channel. But the confirmation of the same came by Kohli and Anushka on social media.

Cricket fraternity sends congratulatory messages as Virat Kohli announces birth of his second child

While entire India celebrated the birth of Virat and Anushka's son, celebrations echoed even in Pakistan where the cricketer's fans celebrated the news by distributing sweets.

The fans didn't just congratulate Virat on the birth of his baby boy but also backed Akaay to break his father's cricketing records on the field.
