Rinku Singh has taken the international cricket world by storm since making his India debut in 2023. He has become the darling of Indian team fans thanks to his brilliant finishing abilities which he carried over from the IPL to the Men in Blue side.
After enjoying a breakthrough season with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), Rinku finally made his India T20I debut against Ireland last year and in 15 games and 11 innings in T20Is for India, Rinku has scored 356 runs at an average of 89.00 and a strike rate of over 176 with two half-centuries. He has also played 2 ODIs, scoring 55 runs in total.
While Rinku is making his country proud on international stage, a video has gone viral on social media which shows his father still continuing with his job of delivering LPG cylinders.
His father Khanchand lives in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and in the video is seen loading the cylinders in a van for transportation.

This comes after Rinku revealed that his father refused to give up his job, despite his success in cricket.
"I told my father to relax now as we have enough for him not to haul cylinders, but he still does it and loves his job. If someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to tell him to stop unless he wants it,” Rinku said in an interview with Free Press Journal.
Rinku Singh was retained by the KKR for INR 55 lakhs ahead of IPL 2024.
