India’s legendary former opener Virender Sehwag is known for his sharp tongue and amazing wit. Since retiring from cricket, Sehwag has made quite a career in commentary, and even on social media, he keeps his fans laughing with his jokes and witty banter with other cricketers.
This time, the unfortunate targets of his banter were former Pakistani pace legends Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Shoaib Akhtar. The legendary Pakistan pace trio, along with Sehwag and former India spinner Harbhajan Singh are part of the upcoming ILT20 2024 commentary panel.
The legendary cricketers were revealed as part of the commentary panel by ILT20 in a video on their social media platforms. In the video, all the former players were seen conversing with one another virtually in one of the banter ever.

The highlight of the video was the laughter triggered by former Indian opener Virender Sehwag's cheeky declaration. Sehwag said: “Tum sabke liye mai akela hi kaafi hoon (I am enough for all of you)."

The members of the ILT20 2024 commentary panel are Rohan Gavaskar, Saba Karim, Nikhil Chopra, Vivek Razdan, Alan Wilkins, Simon Doull, Daren Ganga, Danny Morrison, Niall O’Brien, Anjum Chopra, Reema Malhotra and Natalie Germanos.
The tournament will start on January 19, 2024, with the defending champions, the Gulf Giants, going against the Sharjah Warriors in Sharjah. The tournament will feature six teams, with a total of 34 matches to be played across the UAE.
