MS Dhoni | Aalim Hakim InstagramFormer India captain MS Dhoni has once again surprised his fans as his vintage long-haired look was unveiled by celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim on social media.

Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2020, has continued to play in the Indian Premier League. He remains the only captain to win all three white-ball ICC Trophies. He won the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy.

He recently featured in the IPL 2023, where he led the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title. Despite being on the wrong side of 40, MS Dhoni remains one of the fittest cricketers, who do not play regularly.

“His record vastly outstrips that of Jitesh Sharma,” Shashi Tharoor questions Sanju Samson’s absence from India’s Asian Games squad

When asked about his future in IPL cricket during the post-match presentation during the final, MS Dhoni didn’t confirm that this was his last outing. He said that he would take a call after recovering from a few niggles and how his body feels. Notably, soon after the IPL 2023 final, Dhoni underwent knee surgery in Mumbai.

He has been seen working out at the JSCA facility in Ranchi. Dhoni has also been seen enjoying driving across his hometown in vintage cars and bikes. He recently launched the first movie under his banner, a Tamil movie named “Let’s Get Married”.

However, his recent look with long hair made fans nostalgic. MS Dhoni made his debut for India in 2004 and has long hair. Even former Pakistan premier Parvez Musharraf had praised his looks when India had toured Pakistan in 2006.
