The auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi has arrived and many cricketers including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma welcomed Ganpati Bhagwan at their home.
Indian players returned from triumphant Asia Cup 2023 where they defeated Sri Lanka in the final to become 8-time Asia Cup champions. This was the second time India won the Asia Cup title with Rohit Sharma as their captain.
India captain Rohit Sharma shared a photo on his Instagram account of doing aarti of Ganpati Bappa on the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi at his home. He captioned the post: “गणपती बाप्पा मोरया! ('Ganpati Bappa Mourya')”
Anushka Sharma also shared some photos of Virat Kohli and herself on Instagram, wearing Indian traditional dresses, doing aarti of Ganeshji at their home while sharing best wishes for Ganesh Chaturthi.
