“Hum fake personality bana le”- Shadab Khan slams user for mocking Hassan Ali’s language

Hassan Ali had commented in Punjabi on Shadab Khan's photos on X.

Hassan Ali and Shadab Khan | GettyPakistan white-ball vice-captain Shadab Khan heavily slammed a troll for mocking his teammate Hasaan Ali’s English skills on social media platform X (Formerly Twitter). Hassan Ali had posted some comments praising Shadab’s photos on his account.

The Pakistan cricketer had posted some photos of him on X and captioned it as, "Modelling skills better? Learning from my teammates."

Reacting to his teammate's post, Hasan Ali replied, “Mai sadqy jaon wari jaon apny yaar pa Maa Sha Allah nazar na lag jaye (I will sacrifice myself for your well-being. God will protect you, don't get lost).”

Hassan Ali is currently out of action due to a finger injury and was not named in Pakistan’s Asia Cup 2023 and provisional World Cup 2023 squad.

CWC 2023: “Should have taken my advice”- Ex-PCB chief Najam Sethi's dig at BCCI after tweaks in World Cup schedule

His tweet for Shadab was well-liked by fans, but one person was highly offended at the language used by Ali and mocked him. He even asked the PCB to educate their players on proper social media usage.

He posted: “For God's Sake @RealHa55an You are an international cricketer...!! @TheRealPCBMedia @Rehan_ulhaq @TheRealPCB at least educate them how to use social media platforms.

However, this unnecessary criticism of Hassan Ali didn’t sit well with Shadab Khan and he slammed the user saying that he is proud of his culture and even gave examples of Lionel Messi not speaking English and other foreign players speaking whatever they want in English and that’s fine.

"Messi English na bolay theek. Foreign players English mai aesi baat ker de theek. Laikin hmy chahe ke ham natural na rahe. Hum fake personality bna le. Bhai mujhe to apne culture ya mazak mai koi sharam nahi. Allah sab ko khush rakhay aur dosre ki khushi mai bhi khush rakhay (Messi doesn't speak english, it's fine. Foreign players speak whatever they want in English, it is fine. but if we act naturally, we have a fake personality. I am not ashamed of my culture. Allah will keep everyone happy)", Shadab wrote.
