Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is currently spending time away from the pitch after leading the franchise to its fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title by defeating defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) on the last ball of the IPL 2023 final.
Dhoni, who was hampered with a sore knee for the entire duration of the tournament, managed to overcome the pain barrier and performed his wicket-keeping duties admirably well, also hitting some big sixes with the bat.
Dhoni eventually had to undergo a surgery in Mumbai few days after the final to sort out the knee. The 42-year-old prefers to stay away from the media, hence his recovery process is not known though his wife Sakshi Dhoni recently had said that he is recovering well and is doing his rehab.
It is expected that the celebrated cricketer will be back in action for the 2024 season, for one last time. He had hinted at the post-match presentation ceremony in the final that he wants to gift his fans by turning up for one more season though he would leave that decision close to the auction.
In recent times, his crazy fans have been following every move made by him when he steps outside his farmhouse, from his gym sessions to him driving his vintage cars on the streets of Ranchi.

In a video clip doing the rounds on social media since the last 24-48 hours, Dhoni can be seen interacting with few fans as he asked for directions towards Ranchi while sitting in his car with his friend who was driving the vehicle.

He also posed for few pictures before leaving for his destination. The fans only seemed envious and joyful having got the chance to interact with him.
